Oil Highlight - Spring Fever

I know in some parts of the country it’s been Spring for a while, heck it might even be starting to feel like Summer. However, here in Wisconsin the seasons are slow to change back to warmer temps. This is the first week it’s felt really good to be outside and I couldn’t be happier. Fresh air and time outdoors is vital to our well-being and when I go months on end without feeling recharged by the sun on my skin I start to feel the effects. Long winters can take their toll emotionally and physically.

Today I’m sharing a couple of my favorite ways to transition into Spring with oils.

Feelings

Give me ALL the floral and citrus, please!! I love the combination of floral and citrus when it comes to oils. Here are a few of my favorite blends for all the Spring vibes!

White Angelica + Orange or Tangerine

Joy + Grapefruit

Geranium + Bergamot

You can diffuse these blends or add 5 drops of each to a roller ball and top with carrier oil for the most wonderful perfume.

Allergies

I know many people who suffer from allergies this time of year and I have just the recipe for you!

Diffuse: 3 drops each of Lemon, Lavender & Peppermint

Roller Ball: 5 drops each of Lemon, Lavender & Peppermint topped with carrier oil

Cleaning

I absolutely love when it is finally nice enough outside to open up the windows and let some fresh air into our home. There is something so refreshing about letting that clean air in. So naturally I want a nice clean house to go along with it. When I started to incorporate essential oils into my life I never realized the endless uses and thanks to Young Living I also have access to incredible non toxic products for cleaning my home as well. The line of Thieves cleaners, everything from household cleaner to dish soap, laundry detergent and fruit and veggie soak. I mean, you name it, they make it and I feel good about using these clean products(no pun intended)!

For the freshest air: Diffuse 3 drops Purification and 3 drops Lemon
