Hello, February!

January went by in a flash. I know for some it might have felt like the longest month ever, but for me it zipped by. Between kicking off the new year and then preparing for our trip to Mexico and then spending the last week of the month hunkered down and home bound due to sub-arctic like weather I am ready for a new month.

I like routine and January didn’t provide much of it. I want to start February off right and to do that I’m working on a short list of intentions that will help me stay on track.


Living in Wisconsin comes with long, cold winters and this one has been no exception. It’s important to stay positive when you might not see the sun for several days or when you are stuck inside due to such cold temps. It’s so important to focus on the positive and what brings us joy.


Self-care looks different for everyone. For me I want a couple more face masks lathered on, a few more books read and a lot more yoga this month.


Date my husband, call my parents more, make coffee dates with friends
