Hey weekend, I’m looking at you!

Does anyone else feel like their plowing into the holidays like an off the rails train? Please someone else say, yes!

Well, next week will arrive ready or not and I’m definitely looking forward to some time away from work, visiting with family and friends and getting to relax a little. It’s been a while since I shared a Week-End Update so we’re long overdue! Please read to the end, I have a special note for you.

THE RUNDOWN

I observed, as part of my yoga teacher training, a couple of classes at Udana Yoga in Oak Creek, which is a new to me studio and I really loved the energy of the space. I’m excited to take a class at this studio in the near future. I also conquered a few fears by trying an Aerial Yoga class on Tuesday night. First fear, finding the studio in a building that for anyone who listens to true crime books and podcasts thought for sure would be my last. Second, falling on my face. Third, heights! So when you combine all of that it’s a Christmas miracle that I did it and survived and even had some laughs along the way.

If you hadn’t noticed there’s a theme to the week, YOGA! I also hosted a Wellness Wednesday class this week at Oak Creek High School. All staff are invited to come take a yoga and meditation class in the morning with yours truly, as a way to set the tone for their day and provide them some time for themselves. I received a request to leave them in savasana for at least ten more minutes next time. I commend what our eduators do day in and day out and I am really enjoying giving back to the community in this way. Definitely look for more community classes from Barreista Be Well in 2020!

CURRENTLY LOVING

I’m currently crushing on all of these…

WHAT I’VE BEEN READING

All these books are heavy but the Alice Network and Good Daughter were both really good. American Predator was just very creepy, feeding my True Crime junkie self.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

In just two weeks I’ll be starting the Chandanni Liver Cleanse again! This time I’m not alone. I have a beautiful tribe that is joining me on their own transformational journeys. It’s not too late to join us! Grab your cleanse here!

Considering my posts about the liver cleanse and the Young Living Black Friday sale were amongst the most read posts of the year I guess my focus on all things wellness is resonating with you and that warms my heart! I’m here to share with you what I’m using and doing to live my best-well-life!

ONE FINAL THOUGHT

This blog along with my social media platforms has been a pure passion project over this past year. I launched Barreista Be Well almost one year ago and I’m so thankful for each and every person that has subscribed, read a blog, commented on a post, shared a story, liked a post, watched me be me and joined in on meet ups, wellness events and more. You are all a blessing and Barreista Be Well wouldn’t be the same without you! I can’t wait to see and experience, right along with you, the excitement I know is in store for 2020.
